Fond memories tonight of hot beverages, chain smoking, and talking to the prettiest girl long into the night. Painted on site where it all took place because I’m crazy like that.

Two hour life study from last night

Tried some colors new to me on this one; Greenish Umber and Venetian Red. I never heard of Greenish Umber until I found a tube in the remnants pile at the studio where I teach. The tinting strength left more to be desired but the paint itself was quite workable with a nice hue. For such a quick painting I’m really pleased with it.
