It’s been a productive season in the studio. I have a wealth of pieces in production, and at the end of a session I’ll use whatever remains on the palette to produce one of these cute little friends.

Crab Meadow
Tried to socially isolate outside for a while and paint today. Succeeded at the painting part. Not so much the isolation with all the kids out of school smokin’ weed in the bushes.

There are some quiet days at the school I teach at, during which I get the chance to sneak a doodle in their sketchbooks. This is the result of one such occasion.
Jujubutu Hanten
Upside down and a little fuzzy, kind of like the memories of our time together in college. Julie is a photographer, designer, kickball/animal/motorcycle enthusiast and dear friend I haven’t seen in way too long.
